Vintage Turquoise & Teal Dresser

It's sad when a piece of furniture alone makes me yearn for a new baby nursery to decorate! This one has done it for sure...boy or girl...wouldn't matter. I love this dresser's colors and the new polka dot knobs are perfect with the lightly distressed finish. I really enjoyed painting this one, my imagination went everywhere, especially after mixing the 3 different colors I used to get this shade of blue.

 Cute Hobby Lobby knobs:)

Vintage Dresser in Evening Blue

My parents are down sizing to a smaller home and found that some pieces wouldn't fit in their new home, so I became the proud owner of this "donated" piece.
Very happy to take it off their hands:)
Actually, my father stored a bunch of what-nots in this in the garage which is why it had never been refinished..until now.
Check it out in Evening Blue.

Here is where I found my inspiration for color
on this piece.
Yep, that's my purse and I love the color!
Also, here is the before shot...
Happy Wednesday!

Vintage Distressed Dresser in Blue & Creme

I painted this dresser for a lovely couple expecting their baby girl in just a few weeks.  They have chosen a vintage inspired nursery with the colors of an English rose garden.  After looking over the fabric swatches and picture of the baby crib, they gave me the option to "surprise" them!

I love the new rose glass knobs.

I'm a little nervous...:)
Hope they love it as much as I enjoyed painting it:)

Emerald Green Credenza...Is That a Peacock?

Oh my green great goodness...it is a peacock!
This is a massive piece of vintage furniture I found last week while out searching for dressers.  Not a dresser, but I love it anyway!
This could be used for so many things...media console, office desk/credenza, buffet, or a tv console.

I replaced the knobs with these rustic gold ceramic
ones but left the original pulls.
And the before pic....just for giggles;)
Solid wood and oh soooo heavy, my friends.

For sale!!

Mint and White Glossy Vintage Dresser

This beautiful combination on this dresser of glossy mint and white makes my heart smile. It is so refreshing, and the original brass pulls give it some sophistication. The look is clean and fresh and I L-O-V-E!

I sort of hope this ends up in a sweet
little nursery somewhere;)

As always, this dresser is available on my

Vintage Faux Bamboo Etagere in Glossy Red

Mom was right:) ...
the glossy red turned out super pretty!

I planned to paint this white or green, but the red definitely looks the best.

This is one of those items we all could use
just about anywhere we need some storage...that happens to be red hot gorgeous;)

Happy Monday!

Teal Vintage Foyer Table

This is a piece I just finished for a sweet friend!
She purchased this at a garage sale and pretty much gave me free range to do what I thought would make it look new again.

Hope she loves it!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Teal and Tiffany Blue Vintage Hutch / Buffet

Hold on to your boots:)...

I'm about to knock your socks off!
This was such a fun piece to do, too.
 Now, minus the center shelf...

I especially love this for the obvious reason, turquoise, but also I love the Mediterranean look of it, too.
Is it weird to love a photo of furniture you painted?
...Cause I love that one;)

  New knobs, too!
And lastly, here is the before shot I
snapped just before sanding.

This pretty little lady can be found here,

Have a great day!
